FTC could take final decision on Google with in some day
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), a final decision this week on whether Google settle in an anti-trust investigation, the Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the matter.
Google was accused of putting its own products high in the search results and giving competitors a lower ranking making it harder for customers to find them. Google has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.
The WSJ said that the FTC was close to completing its investigation into Google's search results in mind when Google offered to voluntary changes similar to the settlement reached after patents acquired Motorola Mobility, a handset maker to make.
Reuters had reported on 18 December 2012 that FTC would decide on the more than two-year investigation into Google to consider the offer.
The agreement would the FTC voluntary commitments from Google to enforce some of these people told the magazine.
Google, in December was willing to make some changes to its business put an end to the FTC investigation secure.
Neither the FTC nor Google can be reached for comment.
