Robots playing Table tennis made debut in China

Tennis is not something that should be easy for robots to do, so I was actually surprised that this ping-pong game robots were unveiled in China. This clever 'play to 21 bots, and hopefully, at least for now, will not beat any human player.

These robots are able to control the movement of the small ping-pong ball track and return with a satisfactory Wack, a motion-control system is equipped with an integrated camera and a processing unit. These 'bots was discovered by a lab at Zhejiang University in China. The robots are each 5'3 "tall and weighs 121 pounds. It took the lab four years to develop them.
Soon you will be able to play tennis on a real court with a robot as a partner. Although one would think, maybe a little more complicated to pull out, a Vietnamese toy company wanted a shot at this idea a few years back and has recently revealed this daunting upgrade ...
